In November 2019, a Team of 12 Christians founded a Non-Government Organization (NGO) called “Community Action for Mercy” (CAM Rwanda) in order to contribute to the solutions of main problems that the Teen mothers, youth and children are facing. CAM Rwanda is registered at Rwanda Governance Board (R.G.B). with a legal personality N° 807/RGB/NGO/LP/01/2022 . CAM Rwanda is currently operating in Rulindo district with an extension plan to other districts of Rwanda in a near future.

Inspire and empower vulnerable families, in particular children and Youth
Healthy families that are economically self-reliant, dignified, responsible and empowered to better manage their future.
Empower youth including teen mothers, to eradicate drug abuse and teenage pregnancies.
Promote economic capacity of women and girls through technical training, saving groups and linkage with microfinance institutions and other financial opportunities.
Alleviate malnutrition and stunting through Improved Agriculture and environment protection.
Promote public health, Fight communicable & no-communicable diseases, epidemics like HIV/AIDS.
On 10th June 2021, 35 community members including 10 women and 25 men participated in public work helping in the construction of a house for Vulnerable Teen Mother
This activity was conducted with the objective of: “Sensitizing and motivating Parents with children under five to prepare a balanced diet, adoption of kitchen gardens.
Supporting teen mothers and other people with difficulties is one of CAM Rwanda’s responsibilities.
