Community Action for Mercy (CAM Rwanda) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2019 with RGB legal personality n0 N° 807/RGB/NGO/LP/01/2022.
One of CAM Rwanda‘s objectives is:

Healthy families that are economically self-reliant, dignified, responsible and empowered to better manage their future.
CAM Rwanda successfully facilitated 120 vulnerable families to participate in Savings for Transformation (S4T) groups, achieving 100% of the annual target. Through regular savings, access to small loans, and peer support, beneficiary households strengthened their financial management skills, increased household savings, and invested in income-generating activities.
In 2022, during the Open Day event held in Rulindo District, CAM Rwanda was awarded the Best Performer of the Year.
The award was presented by the Mayor of Rulindo District MUKANYIRIGIRA Judith in recognition of CAM Rwanda’s outstanding performance and contribution.
67 families trained; 54 legalized their marriages in Shyorongi sector due to the training and meeting participation in the communities to help them understand the concept of Gender and equality, where they share family responsibilities.
Under the soap-making training programme, youth acquired practical skills in producing quality liquid and bar soap. The training equipped participants with entrepreneurship knowledge, enabling them to start small income-generating activities individually or in groups. This initiative has contributed to enhancing self-reliance while creating opportunities to improve household income
The Training in Tailoring for Teen Mothers Program is an initiative designed to give young mothers a second chance in life by empowering them with practical skills and holistic support.
A team from BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH (UK) visited different interventions conducted by CAM RWANDA from 23 February to 01 March 2025. During the visit, the team toured various projects and community activities supported by CAM RWANDA, including Early Childhood Development centers, women and youth empowerment programs, healthcare services, peacebuilding initiatives, and community livelihood projects.
On 10th June 2021, 35 community members including 10 women and 25 men participated in public work helping in the construction of a house for Vulnerable Teen Mother
This activity was conducted with the objective of: “Sensitizing and motivating Parents with children under five to prepare a balanced diet, adoption of kitchen gardens.
